Yes, Impetigo is very contagious. Will often start as a small red sore, that is filled with a yellow-white puss; this blister is extremely fragile. When broken often will bleed as well as form a crust which is the source of the bacteria. Lots of times Impetigo is often confused with coldsores and acne.

Treatment?
  • Topical creams as well as antibiotics. (*must be perscription to be effective)
